Thirty seven years ago an experiment was proposed 1 for setting a better limit on the decay K20 -> π + π -. Instead the observation of the decay occurred and the wonderful adventure of the CP violation had started. It is remarkable that after so many years that discovery is still the trigger for most of the new experiments and of so many progresses in theoretical physics. The connection of the CP problem to the baryogenesis 2 makes it possibly the most fascinating subject of modern high energy physics...
