In the 'standard' quantum cosmology it is usual not to mention the
possibility of creation of a universe with non-trivial topology (and
particularly with negative curvature); however, even simple models of
quantum cosmology can be extended to show how the two subjects, quantum
cosmology and non-trivial topology, can be joined.
