We present detailed studies concerning a molecular cloud associated with a vigorous star-formation region, G10.6-0.4, in the molecular lines of CS, using both the NRO 45-m telescope and the Nobeyama Millimeter Array interferometer. The integrated intensity map obtained by the NRO 45-m telescope has revealed that the molecular cloud associated with the compact H II region, G10.6-0.4, is isolated and has a nearly circular shape with a size of 1.7 pc in diameter. The maps of CS (J = 1-0) emission obtained with the interferometer clearly reveal fine structures of the molecular cloud. The maps show that there is a massive core with a size of 1 pc x 0.87 pc in the central part of this molecular cloud. The velocity centroids of both the core and the molecular cloud are consistent with a value of V(LSR) about 3 km/s. The core shows a strong suggestion of rigid-body-like rotation with a velocity gradient of about 6 km/s per pc. One dense clump with a size of about 0.5 pc in diameter has been found in the rotating core.
