We numerically analysed the perturbative effects of the main non-gravitational perturbations on LAGEOS-type satellites argument of perigee rate and nodal rate. Conclusions regarding the use of LAGEOS-type satellites for the Lense-Thirring effect measurement are given. Improvements regarding the use of a third satellte, LARES, to be used in supplementary orbit to LAGEOS, are also proposed.
