We propose a joint Chardra/ACIS (75ks) - Spitzer/IRAC (10 minutes) observation of RCW36, a very young (2-3Myr) massive star-forming cluster that shows a hint of dynamical mass segregation in our NIR observation. This program aims to construct the mass-stratified radial profiles of stellar surface number density in the cluster in order to examine if the dynamical segregation is operating. The proposed Chandra and Spitzer observations are necessary to establish cluster membership among heavily contaminated NIR sources in our existing catalog. This will allow us to test the persence of dynamical mass segregation in this young cluster, giving a better understanding of cluster evolution.
