Self-gravitating non-Abelian magnetic monopoles, given as static, spherically symmetric solutions of the Einstein-Yang-Mills-Higgs (EYMH) equations, were studied intensively in recent years. These solutions are characterized by two dimensionless parameters, α = MW/MPl and β = MH/MW, where MW resp. MH denote the mass parameters of the Yang-Mills resp. Higgs field and MPl is the Planck mass. Numerical studies show that regular monopoles exist only in a finite interval of the parameter α and as α tends to a critical value αc the solutions approach a limiting solution...
