Although observations of GRBs in other wavelengths have now eclipsed gamma-ray observations, this traditional region of the spectrum remains important. Several observations remain controversial and may be important in deciphering the nature of gamma-ray bursts. These include reports of anisotropy, the rate of weak bursts, the narrowness of the Ebreak distribution, and the existence of subclasses.
