In this talk, we review inflationary cosmology in the Randall-Sundrum (RS) type brane-world scenario in which a brane-universe is embedded in the 5-dimensional anti-de Sitter (AdS5) space with Z2-symmetry. Creation of a brane-universe is described by the AdS5 instanton bounded by a de Sitter brane. Inflation on the brane is then a natural consequence of the brane-world creation. Several prominent features of this scenario are discussed. Then a possible realization of the brane-world creation without an inflaton field on the brane is described.
