Papers concerning high power radiowave propagation and the nonlinear wave-plasma interaction phenomena are reviewed. Observational data from experiments at the Arecibo Observatory studying the relationship between HF-induced plasma lines, the acceleration of thermal electrons, and airglow emissions are described. The theoretical analyses of the process of electron acceleration caused by plasma turbulences in the HF-modified ionosphere are discussed.
