We request a sequence of NAPA observations 6 x 6 hr of a black hole
X-ray binary system entering the intermediate X-ray state that leads to
a radio flare. The simultaneous hard X-ray coverage (with RXTE/INTEGRAL;
PI Belloni) will provide us with key observational tests for the
recently proposed unified scheme for black hole X-ray binary jets.
