We investigate the influence of the Doppler shift on the radiative
transfer through the discs of cataclysmic variables. All the disc
structure, the radial and latitude dependence, is included in the
radiative transfer. The matter distribution as well as the opacity and
emissivity are calculated using the AcDc non-LTE code.
