We propose a mini survey of inactive galaxies within 15 Mpc. Previous studies have shown that most of nearby inactive galaxies harbor an ultra-low luminosity AGN (ULAGN) radiating at less than 10^-8 of the Eddington luminosity. This class is best-suited to investigate the accretion physics under extreme condition. We use these observations to search for more ULAGNs and to relate the accretion luminosity to the environment (gas density, temperature, etc).
