On the Island of Lanzarote, the data for heat flow, gravimetric tides, and a model of its crust from seismic profiles are available for study. The measured heat flow values are as expected, once the crust thickness and recent volcanic activity of the island have been evaluated. On studying the relationship of these parameters, disagreement with the results obtained from previous studies is observed. These studies show a clear relationship between positive anomalies in the cosine component of some waves of the gravimetric tide harmonic development and high values of heat flow that are not evident in the Lanzarote data.
