We present the quiescence spectrum of the dwarf nova KX Aql. The most
prominent spectral features are the extremely strong Balmer emission
lines, indicative of a dwarf nova at a low mass-transfer rate. The
absence of secondary absorption and a large outburst amplitude suggests
KX Aql as a member of the SU UMa subclass.
