Recent advances in plasma physics concerning the cosmic environment, originating to a large extent from the space-based observation of cosmic X-rays and gamma rays, are reviewed, and the differences between the developed model of the plasma universe and the model of the visually detected universe are pointed out. Cosmic plasma descriptions should include both the magnetic field and electric current pictures. Application of the plasma universe model to cosmogony is considered, and an analysis of the Saturnian rings demonstrates that it is possible to reconstruct certain cosmogonic events with an accuracy of better than 1 percent.
