Possible alterations of low temperature condensates like amorphous ices
and clathrate hydrates with pressure, temperature and time are
discussed. Laboratory data from microporous ice and from clathrates
hydrates of CO2 and Kr were used in order to give some
recommendations for the return of cometary samples.
