We propose to observe the water maser emission at 22 GHz and radio continuum emission towards the planetary nebula (PN) IRAS 15103-5754. A single-dish spectrum of the maser emission has been obtained with Parkes antenna, showing expanding velocities ~100 km/s. If the association of this maser (with water fountain characteristics) with the PN is confirmed, this source would be the first "water fountain" PN identified up to now. It could be the missing link between classic water fountains and the rare class of PNe with H2O maser emission. It will be also the key to witness the shaping of PNe by collimated outflows.
