Some brief stories of Ernest Walton, born 1903, joint Nobel prizewinner
for physics 1951 with Sir John Cockcroft, are related. He is traced from
Abbeyside, Dungarvan, County Waterford, to the Cavendish Laboratory,
Cambridge and back to Trinity College, Dublin, and Rathgar where he
sadly died on 25th June 1995.
