In an earlier G270H spectrum, we discovered an apparent broadMgII line
in the prototypical powerful double radio galaxyCygnus A, showing that
the latter harbors a hidden quasar.Because of low SNR and an unflagged
bad diode in the FOS/BL arrayat the redshifted MgII line, this result
needs to be confirmed.
