Our group is realizing a deep survey for quasars in a 300 square degrees
zone surrounding the North Galactic Pole. Quasar candidates are selected
according to colour and variability criteria, on Schmidt photographic
plates digitized with MAMA measuring machine. They will be confirmed by
multi-object spectroscopy.
