Scientific paper

Spectroscopic observations of the eclipsing binary TX UMA carried out with D.A.O high-dispersion spectrographs in 1969-70 and at the Ondrejov Observatory in 1972-1980 are summarized. Particular attention is given to the manifestations of interacting processes, the secondary component spectrum in the ever changing line spectra, and orbital period changes obtained by the Skalnate Pleso Observatory.
