New and updated parallaxes are presented here for several very late-type M dwarf stars and three white dwarfs. The M dwarfs RG0050--2722, MH2115--4518, MH2124--4228, and LHS3003 are amongst the very lowest luminosity stars known having absolute visual magnitudes of 18 and fainter. The parallaxes are reduced from CCD observations obtained with the Australian National University 1-meter reflector at the Siding Spring Observatory. The CCD field covers 5.36 x 3.54 arcmin at 0.56 arcsec/pixel. The data are obtained through either broadband R or I filters. Parallaxes have been published for four of the stars. The agreement of the LHS 239/240 parallaxes with Naval Observatory results, and for ER-8 and LHS 3003 with Chilean results, is very good. This research is supported by the National Science Foundation, Mount Stromlo and Siding Spring Observatories, and the Estate of Leander J. McCormick.
