We present here the status and results of our program on open clusters, named BOCCE. We use open clusters as tracers of the disk properties and evolution; to this end we are building a large sample of (mostly old) open clusters, studying it in the most homogeneous way.
We employ i) photometry and the synthetic colour-magnitude diagram technique to derive age, distance, reddening and ii) spectroscopy to derive membership and detailed chemical abundance.
