Black Holes, Origin And Formation Of The Universe

Scientific paper

A Vaidya-based model of an evaporating black hole is studied during the de Sitter inflationary phase of the Universe. The phase is considered spatially flat and viewed in comoving coordinates. The structure, location, and motion of the apparent and event horizons of the radiating black hole are determined. A relation between the Hawking black-hole temperature of the apparent horizon and the critical grand-unified-theory temperature is obtained which allows an estimate of the black-hole radiation rate. This rate is found to be slightly less than that expected for normal black-hole evaporation.
