Theoretical limitations on the experimental detection of neutrino oscillation due to two-component mixing are discussed. Exclusive and inclusive cosmic-ray-neutrino experiments using both large-volume and rock-shielding large-area underground detectors are considered, and the results of numerical computations on the sensitivity of existing and planned experiments to neutrino-oscillation events are presented graphically.
