The aim of these tests is to measure the plate scale of the FOC f/48, f/96 and f/288 modes and to determine the distortion over the field, using a rich star field which will be placed in different positions on the detector. These tests may have to be repeated after the SV period, depending upon the long term stability of the instrument. The observations will be analyzed off-line using CDBS, and the analysis will be used to update the FOC reference files in SOGS.
