Chandra has observed 10 comets with the Advanced Camera for Imaging Spectrometer (ACIS). This sample contains a broad variety of comets, solar wind environments, and observational conditions. Previously we had performed spectral analysis of this sample using a new atomic physics-based charge exchange emission (CXE) model (Bodewits et al. 2007). In the current paper we present our continued analysis of CXE model predictions, which provides detailed information on the plasma conditions in the comet, previously only available with in-situ measurements. We search for changes in the cometary spectra as a function of distance from the comet's nucleus and for spectral changes across the X-ray bow shock for the comet's with highest signal to noise. These include: C/1999 S4 (LINEAR), C/1999 T1 (McNaught-Hartley), C/2002 C1 (Ikeya-Zhang), 2P/2003 (Encke), and 8P/2008 (Tuttle). Most comets show a decrease in the OVIII/OVII ratio when moving from the coma to the nucleus, in agreement with simple model predictions. We will also present comparison of each comet's image morphology to CXE models.
