Scientific paper

Major goals and program features of two twin Rosetta missions,
Rosetta-CNSR (the ESA-NASA Comet Nucleus Sample Return) mission and
Rosetta back-up mission, are discussed. It is noted that, so far the
Rosetta back-up mission does not exclude the main CNSR mission from
being carried out.
