Solar Eclipses: Earth Ionosphere

Scientific paper

The ionospheric effects of the annular eclipse of Sep 23, 1987 observed
by HF skywave backscatter radar, are described. The observed results
show that the irregularity and the small scale ripples existed on the
annular eclipse path during the solar eclipse, and the large scale
undulations presented on a large region after the solar eclipse.
