Mars Global Surveyor images from the Mars Orbiter Camera (MOC) and
altimetry data from the Mars Orbiter Laser Altimeter (MOLA) provide new
impetus to consider glaciation as an important process in the past and
even currently in certain subpolar areas of Mars.
