I summarise the discussion after the talks of the afternoon session on
accretion discs. A large part of this was devoted to the outburst of the
well-known dwarf nova WZ Sge which was still going strong during the
conference. The presentations on WZ Sge are described in a contribution
by Kuulkers et al.
