We have found 4 SMC and 22 LMC radio Planetary Nebula (PN) candidates using recent low resolution mosaic ATCA observations. In November 2006, five of the LMC candidates, found by similar methods, were imaged using the 6 km ATCA array configuration at 6/3 cm. Higher than expected flux densities (up to 26 times) were found in 4/5 sources and two (RP 1716 and RP 993; Reid & Parker 2006) were well resolved at 3 cm. The latter are extended objects up to 2 pc in diameter, more than twice that expected. The present set of candidates will allow us to verify a new population of radio PNe and measure flux densities in order to obtain accurate spectral indices. More are expected to be resolved, allowing their size and morphology to be studied. Understanding the radio nature of these objects and their ionized structure at the known distance of the Magellanic Clouds will allow us to better understand PNe in our own Galaxy.
