We request 2x12 hour sessions in a compact configuration to mosaic the region surrounding a number of calibrators and strong intraday variable (IDV) sources. IDV due to interstellar scintillation can be used to infer information on source structure at resolutions of around 10 microarcseconds. These observations will be used to test the performance and calibration of the Hobart interferometer which is currently under construction and expected to achieve first fringes in the second half of 2007. Once in operation this instrument will be used to continuously monitor a large number of IDV sources.
