Hst Proposal Id #5041

Scientific paper

This proposal defines the long term sensitivity monitoring program for the Goddard High Resolution Spectrograph. It uses three UV standard stars, BD+28d4211, and BD+75d325. 1) BD+28d4211 will be the long term standard, and will allow cross-calibration with FOS. 2) BD+75d325 will provide backup during SMOV and will be observed as a close-out in Cycle 3. 3) AGK+81d266 will be observed to provide a baseline for the SMOV focus test. The exposure times are short and the medium resolution gratings will be used with the LSA.
