Our 10-ks DDT observation of the first known double pulsar system showed it to be easily detectable, with a spectrum that can be fit by a steep power-law. However, the small number of detected photons prohibited detailed studies of the spectrum and variability. We therefore request more sensitive observations with both ACIS-S and HRC-S. These will allow us to discriminate between various possible models for the X-ray emission and constrain the extreme interaction between the two pulsars.
