The paper analyzes Cosmos-900 data on the distribution of protons with energies of 50-506 keV and electrons with energies of 50-210 keV in the auroral zone during the magnetic storm of December 11 to 12, 1977. Latitude profiles of proton and electron fluxes had a nonstationary multimaximum structure. Latitude distributions of protons in evening and postmidnight sectors had a two-maximum structure with a harder particle spectrum in the low-latitude region. Attention is given to the dynamics of the low-latitude and high-latitude boundaries of proton and electron precipitation in relation to magnetic conditions and local time.
