It is shown that the coupled Skyrme-Einstein equations of motion do not admit any Schwarzschild-like solution with nonzero topological number. A Schwarzschild black hole thus has no ``skymion hair''. More general static, spherically symmetric solutions with a horizon are discussed. Solutions with nonzero skymion number exist, but are unlikely to be stable.
