Photometry at 1-5 microns shows that the faint optical source inferred to be a globular cluster associated with MXB 1730-335 is indeed one of the most highly concentrated globular clusters known, with a core diameter of 13 plus or minus 1 sec (0.6 pc at 10 kpc). Its central surface brightness is 0.6 mag brighter than the next brightest globular cluster, NGC 6440, which is also associated with an X-ray source. The surface brightness and core radius of the globular cluster associated with MXB 1730-335 indicate a central density of 4 x 10 to the 5th solar masses/cu pc, a central escape velocity of 60 km/s, and a relaxation time of 4 x 10 to the 7th years.
