A Fabry-Perot interferometric system coupled to an image intensifier camera has been evolved for the imaging spectroscopy of extended astronomical objects. The instrument is compact, lightweight, and ideally suited for small telescopes. Details of the instrument are discussed, its performance is evaluated, and preliminary results are presented.
