Results of a study of the absorption-line spectra of several QSOs are reported. Line lists are given for individual objects, and redshift systems have been suggested where possible. It appears that there are QSOs with emission redshifts of the order of 2 whose spectra contain essentially no absorption lines. This may be a difficulty for the intervening-galaxy interpretation of QSO absorption spectra. Possible evidence of variability in 4C 19.31 is also noted.
