The exact solution is presented for the integral equation governing radiative flux in a cold, absorbing and isotropically-scattering, plane-parallel medium subject to parallel irradiation from arbitrary directions. The internal radiation source and flux penetration are calculated for various optical thicknesses, single scattering albedos, and incidence angles.
