Artificial Satellites: Orbital Evolution
Scientific paper
Satellite orbits with near-Earth perigee and apogee distance of several
hundred thousand kilometers are examined. The variations of the orbital
elements over several years are evaluated. This work has been carried
out in connection with the search for the most suitable orbits for the
superlong baseline space radio interferometer.
