The problem of surface tidal deformation of the Earth is expanded to that in the interior of the Earth. Love functions and some tidal deformation factors are defined and calculated for two Earth models, so that the tidal deformation characteristics in the interior of the Earth are understood. The calculating problems of the derivatives of Love functions and tidal stress tensor are discussed.
