Modulation lanes in spectra of the Jovian decametric radio emission are
formed by a scattering on field-aligned inhomogeneities in the
magnetosphere of the planet. A new algorithm for calculating modulation
lanes is used to study locations, radiation patterns and sizes of Jovian
radio sources.
