Interplanetary dust from comets contains abundant nebular materials admixed with molecular cloud material and interstellar grains. These materials have escaped significant parent body processing and thus directly reflect the nature of nebular materials in the outer solar system prior to planetary accretion. The nebular materials include high-temperature crystalline silicates and primary amorphous silicates that are likely condensates. The abundance of nebular materials in cometary dust implies large scale radial transport to the region where comets accreted.
