The distribution of directions of magnetic field vectors along the trajectory was found by accelerations of a plasma cloud moving in Halley's comet tail. The field value in the cometary tail turns out to be maximum on the boundary and decreases sharply in the tail. It means that on the tail boundary there is a magnetic barrier. The map of the magnetic field in Halley's comet tail was plotted and agrees with the laboratory model of the induced magnetosphere.
