We present our simulation results of the solar wind interaction with Venus ionosphere using a 3D 4-species MHD model with spherical grid structure. The smallest grid size in the radial direction is about 23 km in the ionospheric region of Venus. Similar to our most recent Mars simulations, the impinging solar wind is represented by protons, and the ionosphere is assumed to consist of O+, O2+, and CO2+. The electron thermal conduction effect is included in the model calculation to get a reasonable plasma temperature profile in the simulation domain.
