A practical method is presented for calculating the meteoroid flux density Q(mo) of a meteor shower based on echo count s from a forward scatter set-up. The current paper aims at providing a ready-to use method, while more physical explanations can be found in the Radio Meteor School lectures by Oleg Belkovich (Verbeeck & Wislez, 2006). This method was already used to process real data from Perseid observations (Belkovich & Suleymanova, 1999).
