It is found in an X-class impulsive flare that a hard X-ray (above 20 keV) source exists almost at the same location as a soft X-ray ejected feature. This hard X-ray source is related to reconnection upward flow and/or electrons accelerated upward near the reconnection site. The characteristics of this source are summarized and possible scenarios are discussed.
