New spectroscopic results and literature optical and IR photometry of a sample of candidate members of the Star Forming Region NGC 6530 are presented. The selected targets were observed with the GIRAFFE-FLAMES multi-object fiber spectrograph of the ESO-VLT Kueyon Telescope. Results from spectra obtained using the MEDUSA fibre system with the setup HR15, which gives a resolution R=19300 in the wavelength range [6606,6905]{AA}, and with the setup HR14, which gives a resolution R=28800 in the wavelength range [6383,6626]{AA}, are given.
